Presenting in front of a jury of professors and architects, looking at you and your boards, trying to understand what you are saying while you are just wondering if this will be over soon. While there are so many things to be stressed about in architecture, the architecture diploma project is definitely one of them!
It is important to prepare and practice.
I remember planning in a detailed way everything that I had to think about and make so that I would be ready for THE day. I carefully planned what I would talk about on each of my presentation boards. I wrote and showed (as diagrams/illustrations) all the informations on them so I wouldn’t have to discuss everything in detail while presenting. Because yes, we have to be careful about every word we say as we only have a limited time. So making key points that would help in memorizing the content, and also doing a presentation in front of a family member first (or a mirror) is a great way to practice.
Architecture Diploma Project
Last thing I could say : stay confident. Own your project. Be sure of your decisions. There is really no need to dive into complicated and confusing explanations. This is only going to make it worst. Just keep it simple.
Believe in yourself. You’ve got this.
